New Senior Players 2017

Xavier Barry-Murphy – X has impressed everyone with his work ethic this pre season. Down from Vermont, he’s a classy midfielder with enormous running ability sure to add to the depth of our talented midfield.

Michael Barnes – Barnesy is a tough, inside, left footed midfielder. His intensity on the track has been a great influence on the young group and will again add depth to our midfield.

Dean Karies – Deano comes to us from Crib Point. He has been one of the best rebounding half back flankers in the Nepean league for the last few years and will combine well with the likes of Haddock and co.

Peter McGettigan – Pete is an experience 6’3” forward who’s leadership over the preseason has been top class. Pete will be the playing assistant coach this year and add a strong presence to our forward line.

Travis Young – A Mornington product, Trav has been at the Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC for the last 3 years and has come back to the Kennel. At 6’5” Trav can play just about anywhere, forward, defence or even give Mick a hand in the ruck.

Troy Kirwen – Troy has come over from Perth, he’s a 6’3”, classy, left footed defender with a wealth of experience. Sure to give our young players great support down back.

Rhys Healey (not pictured) – A former Melbourne listed player, Rhys has the ability to change the game in 10 minutes. He is a 6’1” forward / midfielder with great skill and the ability to kick big bags of goals.
